Online Safety

Our children's safety when using the internet is of huge importance both at school and at home. Derbyshire County Council have produced an excellent guide for parents to the most popular websites that children like to use, we highly recommend that you click on the link below to access this.

We are using the 360 degree safe online safety self review tool to monitor our online safety. This helps us to ensure that we are keeping our children safe.

E-Safety Champions

In Assembly today we heard about a new job we can apply for - E-Safety Champion. There will be two E-Safety Champions in each class. They will wear E-Safety Champion badges, attend meetings, test new IT equipment and apps, plan assemblies, check the website and help to make sure everyone is safe online. We found out what an E-Safety Champion would have to do and how to apply for the job.
Please click the following to read the application form and job description

E-safety Workshop With Brian Marshall

On Friday 6th May, Brian attended the school and talked about some of the issues around e-safety, giving advice on how parents/carers can help keep children safe. If parents were unable to attend the meeting and would like any help/advice from Brian, please contact the school and we will arrange this.
